The Egyptian Tanker Company is an Egyptian joint-stock company, operating under a special free zone system, in accordance with the provisions of Egyptian Law No. 8 of 1997 concerning Investment Guarantees and Incentives and its executive regulations.

The company provides maritime transport services both domestically and internationally to various companies and entities involved in the import and export of crude oil and its derivatives, as well as liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport through Egyptian and international ports. This is achieved through the ownership, chartering, and operation of all types of vessels, particularly oil and gas tankers.

The company also acts as a maritime agency and provides all complementary services related to this activity. It utilizes modern vessels that meet international technical standards and specifications and offer the highest levels of safety and environmental protection.

Since its establishment 2006, the Egyptian Tanker Company has been a key player in the maritime transport market as an owner and operator of oil tankers. It secures operating contracts and charters various types of tankers to transport crude oil and petroleum product shipments to and from Egyptian ports for major Egyptian oil companies, as well as between ports worldwide for leading international oil companies.

The Egyptian Tanker Company owns an Aframax tanker, the "ETC Ramsis," with a capacity of 110,673 deadweight tons (DWT), managed by International Tanker Management company (ITM). It also owns a medium range tanker MR, the "ETC Nefertari," with a capacity of 49,749 DWT, managed by Columbia Ship Management Services company (CMS).

The Egyptian Tanker Company also operates a number of chartered vessels of various types, including Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), Aframax tankers, and Handy tankers.
